How We Work

The same five stages run on every show, whether it is a 300 guest employee gig or a 10,000 person open air concert. The point of a fixed process is that you always know which stage you are in and what happens next.

• Brief and objective. We start with the audience size, the venue, the act and the budget. No production work happens before that is written down and agreed.
• Design and costing. Stage, sound and light designed to the venue and the act, with a line item budget issued at the same time as the creative direction.
• Permissions and planning. Venue NOC, police permission, fire clearance and music licensing filed, alongside a crowd layout showing entry routes, barricades, marshal density and the medical point.
• Show day. Load in, rig, sound check, doors and show run to a written cue sheet, with load out the same night. Changes go through written re approval.
• Wrap up and report. Spend against budget, incident log, what was delivered and an honest note on what to change next time.

What permissions does a public concert need in India?

Typically venue NOC, police permission, fire clearance and music licensing through the relevant society. Loudspeaker and cut off time restrictions vary by city and are the most common reason a show gets cut short, so we map them before the date is announced.

How do you plan for crowd safety?

Capacity is set against the usable area, not the total area. Entry and exit routes, barricade lines, marshal density and a medical point are drawn on the layout before anything is booked.

What is your contingency for weather?

For outdoor shows we specify wind load limits for the structure and set a decision point, usually four hours before doors, with a written call chain for who makes the call.

Do you handle artist riders?

Yes. Technical rider, hospitality rider, travel and accommodation. Anything commercially unreasonable is flagged at the contracting stage rather than on show day.

Can you do smaller in house shows?

Yes. A 300 guest employee concert uses the same discipline at a smaller scale, and often the same sound and light package.
