Brand Activations

A brand activation puts your product in a shopper’s hand in the place they already are, a mall atrium, a residential society gate, a college campus, a high street. It is the shortest distance between a marketing budget and a real conversation with a buyer.

The difference between a campaign that works and one that quietly burns budget is operational, not creative. Trained promoters who turn up. Stock that does not run out on day three. A daily count you can actually audit. Tingle Works runs activations across more than a hundred cities with promoter recruitment, training, stock logistics and daily reporting handled in house.

We are a Bengaluru headquartered activation agency with deployment capability in every metro and most tier 2 markets, which is what makes multi city rollouts practical rather than theoretical.

What This Includes

Every engagement is scoped to the brief, so you take what you need and nothing you do not. These are the areas we cover under Brand Activations.

  • Retail Activation. In store and forecourt activations that convert footfall already in the buying mindset.
  • BTL Campaigns. Below the line programmes planned around a measurable objective, not a reach number.
  • Sampling & Trials. Product sampling with audited counts, geotagged promoter check ins and daily reconciliation.
  • Roadshows. Multi city roadshows with vehicle branding, permissions, route planning and crew.
  • College Activation. Campus programmes reaching a Gen Z audience through authority approved formats.
  • Society & RWA Campaigns. Residential society activations with RWA approvals and resident appropriate formats.
  • Mall Activation. Atrium and kiosk activations, including mall licensing and fabrication.
  • Experiential Marketing. Larger brand experiences built to be photographed and shared, not just attended.
  • Mystery Shopping & Audits. Independent retail audits and mystery shopping across your outlet network.
  • Van & Mobile Promotions. Mobile promotion units for rural and semi urban reach.

How We Work

The same five stages run on every campaign, whether it is a single mall weekend or a multi city rollout. The point of a fixed process is that you always know which stage you are in and what happens next.

  • Brief and objective. We start with what the campaign has to achieve, who you are trying to reach and what the number is. No concept work happens before that is written down and agreed.
  • Concept and costing. You get a creative direction and a line item budget at the same time, so you can see exactly what each idea costs before anything is committed.
  • Deployment planning. Locations licensed, promoters recruited and trained, stock staged and a reporting format agreed. One project lead owns the whole chain.
  • Execution on ground. Daily supervision, geotagged check ins and audited counts. Changes go through written re approval so nothing lands as a surprise on the invoice.
  • Wrap up and report. Every campaign closes with spend against budget, the raw data rather than a summary slide, and an honest note on what to change next time.

Where We Deliver

We are headquartered in Bengaluru with an owned team across the metros and vetted delivery partners everywhere else, which is how we execute across 100+ Indian cities. Most brand activation work runs out of Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, and we travel for the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you recruit and train promoters?

Locally, from a database we maintain city by city, then briefed on your product and script before day one. Attendance is verified with a geotagged photograph at check in, so you are not paying for people who did not turn up.

What does a mall activation cost in Bengaluru?

The mall’s space rental is usually the largest line and varies enormously by centre and footfall. Fabrication, manpower and stock are the controllable parts. We quote the three separately so you can see what is negotiable.

How do we know the reported numbers are real?

Every promoter logs samples issued and interactions against a daily sheet, backed by photographs. We run spot audits during longer campaigns and share the raw data, not just a summary slide.

Can you handle permissions for public spaces?

Yes. Mall licensing, RWA approvals, municipal permissions for roadshows and van campaigns, and college authority clearances are handled as part of the scope.

What is the minimum campaign size?

We prefer campaigns of two weeks or more across at least five locations. Shorter pilots are possible, but the setup cost dominates and the data is too thin to learn from.
